A Rooftop Proposal in the Golden Hour Glow
Neale orchestrated a truly magical proposal for Mariah on a private rooftop in Chicago's West Loop. As the sun began its descent, casting a warm golden glow over the city, the scene was set: a breathtaking panorama with the vibrant orange hues of the sunset on one side and the iconic Chicago skyline shimmering on the other. Unbeknownst to Mariah, her and Neale's families were hidden inside, eagerly awaiting the moment.
It was arguably the most enchanting Friday evening Chicago had witnessed all fall. The beauty of the setting was surpassed only by the love and intentionality that permeated the air. Neale's meticulous planning, with the invaluable assistance of both their families, ensured a truly unforgettable surprise.
After the heartfelt proposal, amidst a flurry of joyful tears and embraces, Neale unveiled another surprise. He stepped inside for a moment, leaving Mariah outside wondering what else he could possibly be surprising her with, and he returned with an endearing, yet mischievous smile. Moments later, both of their immediate families emerged from their hiding place inside, showering the couple with cheers and congratulations. We spent additional time taking portraits with their families, and some of my favorite photos of the whole evening were the candid moments of joy between Mariah, Neale and their closest loved ones as they marked the start of a new chapter in their lives together.
The scene was a whirlwind of pure joy. Mariah and Neale radiated happiness, their faces alight with love and disbelief. The pride and affection emanating from their families was palpable, creating an atmosphere that was both heartwarming and incredibly easy to capture.
